I agree with the statement “Do what you love and love what you do”. I truly love photographing weddings. Capturing real emotions and real moments with real people. Showing a client a shot that brings a tear to their eye, or makes them burst out in laughter. It is a complete privilege and honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day.
The combination of 25 years commercial, nature and fine art experience has let me develop my very own unique photojournalistic style of wedding photography. I have what people call an "organic" style of shooting. I think they are referring to my love for nature/landscape settings and my relaxed style, which translates into relaxed couples and families.
I moved to western North Carolina in 1996 to pursue a healthier lifestyle and escape “big city life” in Atlanta. Since that time my nature photography and fine art has won awards at art shows throughout the eastern United States. I am a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
My wife Jamie and I were married in 2001. We live in beautiful downtown Waynesville, North Carolina.
